Inner Child Work and Play

For many recovering from emotional injury, the dysfunctional family system around them stunted the development of their inner core, early and throughout their childhood.

Reconnecting with their child-self, which was left behind long ago, can be the first step in the process of rehabilitating and rebuilding a healthier psyche, and more effective boundaries.

Reuniting with our child-self can be done in a variety of ways. Beginning the practice can seem strange at first, and becomes the "work" part of the process. Much of the process, though, ends up being "play," because that’s how children learn and grow.

Rediscovering and reparenting the child inside will:
Help repair a wobbly sense of self.
Facilitate a reunion with aspects of yourself that got broken off and left behind.
Be a process involving expressive arts and various techniques and exercises.
Enable you to move through the journey of restoration and growth that may have been detoured by a dysfunctional family cycle.
Enable you to reclaim a more complete and emotionally healthier future.
"Better than twenty years of therapy!"
